As a Research Analyst in Preowned Smartphone Service at Counterpoint, your role involves developing original insights on preowned smartphone service studies of the tech markets. Your contributions are expected to significantly impact Counterpoint's global research efforts. The key responsibilities include: - Managing and updating Counterpoint's proprietary databases with accuracy and consistency. - Conducting data cleaning, validation, tabulation, and analysis to support regular and ad-hoc research needs. - Supporting the Counterpoint Market Monitor program by researching, interpreting, and recording pre-owned market information. - Analyzing key drivers and trends in the pre-owned and refurbished smartphone ecosystem. - Developing clear storylines and structured insights for reports, presentations, and client deliverables. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams on research tasks and contributing to internal knowledge sharing. In terms of business development, you will be expected to: - Engage in business development activities including preparing press releases, sales presentations, and delivering speeches. - Visit clients/prospects to identify and develop business opportunities. - Build strong long-term relationships with clients. Key Skills/Experience Required: - Graduate / B-Tech / BE / MBA with 3+ years of relevant experience. - Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of the pre-owned or refurbished smartphone market, including supply chain, pricing, and ecosystem stakeholders. - Understanding of smartphones, consumer electronics, and telecom technologies. - Ability to analyze market trends and articulate insights clearly. - High discipline, self-motivation, and passion for data interpretation. - Strong analytical and critical-thinking ability with attention to detail. - Knowledge of Python, SPSS, or survey-programming tools is a plus. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a global team.
