Position: Research Analyst – BPO Operations

Location: Chennai

Department: Data Research & Analysis

Experience: 1 to 2 years

Role Overview:

We are seeking detail-oriented and proactive Research Analysts to join our BPO team. The role involves collecting, validating, and updating institutional and corporate information from reliable online sources, including websites and public records. The analyst will be responsible for accurately capturing attributes such as head office details, stakeholders, ownership, executives, and parent entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and update institutional information such as:
    • Head office address, city, state, country, postal code, and contact number.
    • Stakeholder details including organization names, ownership percentages, and entity types.
    • Insider details such as individual shareholders, ownership %, and domicile country.
    • Executive names and roles (Directors, C-suite, etc.).
    • Parent and ultimate parent entities.
  • Ensure all data is captured in the required format and accurately mapped to defined attributes.
  • Conduct validation checks to maintain data integrity and completeness.
  • Research and verify ownership structures, shareholder information, and corporate hierarchies.
  • Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with client requirements.
  • Meet productivity and accuracy targets set by the project.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and internet research skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and data entry tools.
  • Ability to understand corporate structures and stakeholder relationships.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data handling.
  • Prior experience in KYC/AML research, financial data analysis, or corporate data collection is an added advantage.
