About The Opportunity

• Deliver high-quality UG and PG teaching (lectures, practicals, tutorials, bedside demonstrations) and prepare/upkeep teaching resources and practical manuals.
• Supervise and mentor postgraduate thesis work and student research projects; drive publication and quality research output from the department.
• Plan, conduct and assess formative and summative evaluations (theory, practicals, OSCE/OSPE, vivas); contribute to question paper setting and exam coordination.
• Oversee clinical/laboratory/field services as applicable — ward rounds, outpatient sessions, lab supervision, forensic autopsies/medicolegal work and community outreach activities.
• Contribute to curriculum development, departmental administration, accreditation readiness and compliance with regulatory standards (NMC).
• Participate in faculty development, medical education workshops, and mentorship programmes to foster student and resident progression.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• MBBS with MD/MS/DNB or equivalent in the relevant specialty (Professor/Associate/Assistant) or MBBS with relevant postgraduate qualification for Senior Resident, meeting NMC eligibility criteria.
• Eligibility to hold faculty position under National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
• Proven experience in UG & PG teaching, practical/lab demonstrations and postgraduate thesis supervision.
• Demonstrable research experience with familiarity in research methodology, academic publishing and guiding student research.
  

Preferred

• Certification or fellowship in medical education (e.g., DME/FAIMER or equivalent) or experience in simulation-based teaching.
• Experience with e-learning/LMS platforms, digital assessment tools and institutional accreditation processes.
