Title: FP&A Analyst Experience Level: 5-10 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar analytical roles Job Overview: Seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst with 5-10 years of experience to join our new India-based backoffice team supporting our U.S. operations. This role requires proven expertise in retrieving, transforming, and analyzing large datasets, including transaction-level data, to drive actionable insights. The FP&A Analyst will leverage fundamental analytical skills to perform a variety of financial analyses, optimize processes, and implement scalable solutions in an ERP environment. Candidates must excel in data manipulation, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-impact financial reporting. Key Responsibilities: Retrieve, transform, and analyze large datasets, including transaction-level data, to support financial planning and decision-making. Develop and refine financial models, forecasts, and reporting packages to provide actionable insights. Design and implement automated, scalable processes within ERP systems and FP&A tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial analysis with organizational goals. Conduct vendor, customer, and operational analyses to optimize costs, profitability, and efficiency. Create and maintain standardized metrics and classifications for financial reporting, leveraging ERP dimensions and GL coding. Train stakeholders on financial processes and tools to enhance predictability and accountability. Deliver periodic and ad-hoc reports with variance analysis, focusing on exception-based insights. Support the transition to self-service, fully automated reporting systems. Perform additional financial analyses as needed to drive strategic initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 5-10 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or a similar role with a focus on large-scale data analysis. Proven ability to retrieve, transform, and analyze transaction-level data using tools like Excel (advanced), SQL, ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle), and FP&A software (e.g., Vena). Strong understanding of GL coding, ERP dimensions, and financial systems integration. Experience with financial modeling, process optimization, and operational reporting. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills to collaborate across time zones (India-U.S.) and train stakeholders. Familiarity with statistical analysis and forecasting techniques is a plus.
