Job Description

* Maintain build and release pipelines for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) * Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort * Enforce best practices for branching and merging strategies * Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, and performance bottlenecks in the release process * Maintain and enhance configuration management tools and scripts to support automated deployments * Work closely with development, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless software releases * Optimize build tools and processes to improve scalability, reliability, and security * Manage and version software artifacts using package managers (Maven, Gradle, Artifactory, Nexus, etc) * Implement monitoring and logging for builds and deployments to proactively identify and resolve issues * Ensure compliance with security policies, software licensing, and audit requirements Required Skills & Experience: * 5-8 years of experience in build and release engineering, DevOps, or software configuration management * Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps etc) * Proficiency in build automation tools (Maven, Gradle, Ant) * Experience with scripting and automation using Shell, Python, Groovy, or PowerShell * Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus * Solid understanding of version control systems and branching strategies * Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet) is a plus * Strong troubleshooting skills in Linux and Windows environments * Experience working in Backup & Recovery, Enterprise Software, or Storage Solutions is a strong advantage Soft Skills & Competencies: * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills * Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams * Detail-oriented with a focus on efficiency and automation * Proactive, self-driven, and eager to optimize processes * Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly
