Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Perform physical and remote hands-on support for data centre equipment, including servers, network devices, and storage systems. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of data centre infrastructure to ensure optimal performance. Assist with the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of hardware and software. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to data centre operations, escalating to higher-level support when necessary. Monitor data centre environmental conditions and respond to alarms and alerts. Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Maintain accurate documentation of all activities, including incident reports, maintenance logs, and inventory records. Adhere to data centre security protocols and best practices to ensure the safety and integrity of all systems. Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support as needed. 24/7 Rotational shifts Qualifications: Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in data centre operations, remote hands support, or a similar role. Strong technical knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including servers, networking, and storage systems. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with data center management tools and software. Ability to lift and move heavy equipment as required. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such Cisco CCNA and Microsoft Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices
