Job Summary: As Deputy Manager – Sales (Business Development), you will be responsible for expanding RemitX's footprint in the Mumbai region. The role focuses on generating leads, acquiring new clients, building institutional partnerships (such as with educational consultants, corporates, and travel agencies), and increasing sales of forex and remittance products. You will play a pivotal role in achieving regional revenue targets and driving strategic business growth. Key Responsibilities: Drive sales for RemitX products including currency notes, forex cards, student remittances, and travel-related forex services. Develop and nurture partnerships with educational consultants, corporates, travel agents, and other institutional clients. Generate and manage leads through field visits, cold calling, events, digital channels, and referrals. Identify market opportunities and execute region-specific business development strategies to boost customer acquisition. Ensure high customer satisfaction through service excellence, timely communication, and problem resolution. Represent RemitX at student fairs, travel expos, and partner events to promote brand visibility. Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Stay updated with RBI guidelines related to remittances and foreign exchange transactions. Work cross-functionally with operations, marketing, and product teams to deliver seamless client solutions. Key Skills and Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Business; MBA preferred. 2-4 years of experience in sales/business development, preferably in travel tourism, forex, banking, or financial services. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building partnerships. Strong understanding of forex/remittance products, RBI LRS guidelines, and documentation processes.
