Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Identify and onboard new clients including agri commodity traders, processors, and farmers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships through regular client visits and market mapping.
  • Source new business opportunities under Warehouse Receipt Financing.
  • Drive disbursals while ensuring risk-adjusted returns and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure adherence to credit policies and guidelines during loan processing.
  • Coordinate with collateral managers and other internal teams for seamless operations.
  • Track post-disbursal documentation and resolve any pending items with urgency.
  • Monitor delinquencies and take corrective actions based on early warning signals.
  • Meet assigned business targets while maintaining healthy unit economics.
  • Optimize yield, risk, and client satisfaction to ensure portfolio profitability.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 45+ years of relevant experience in Commodity Finance / Agri Finance / Rural Lending.
  • Strong understanding of Warehouse Receipt Financing, commodity markets, and agri-trade dynamics.
  • Proven ability to build and manage client relationships in rural or semi-urban settings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
