Regulatory Compliance Operations Specialist

Role Overview: You will be a part of YouTube's Trust & Safety team, dedicated to ensuring a safe environment for users, viewers, and content creators worldwide. Your role will involve handling policy escalations, reviewing online content, and driving operational improvements to enhance the YouTube experience. Key Responsibilities: - Own and manage policy escalations from legal teams, facilitating consensus among stakeholders and implementing preventative solutions. - Review and manage escalations of graphic, controversial, and offensive video content in alignment with YouTube's Community Guidelines. - Triage, track, investigate, resolve, and accurately communicate all escalations using internal tools and systems. - Analyze, prioritize, and deliver operational improvement opportunities, quantifying the impact of necessary tool changes. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product, and GAPP to manage escalations and support regulatory operations. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. - 4 years of experience in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, or related fields. - Proficiency in data analysis and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, and Slides) for organizing, analyzing, and presenting data. - Fluent communication in English to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in escalations and regulatory programs.
