Job description The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading technical projects, managing a team of engineers or technical professionals, and ensuring the successful implementation of technical solutions. This role involves both strategic planning and hands-on management of technical resources, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the company's technical goals. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, developers, or technical staff. Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure team members have the necessary resources. Oversee and manage the technical execution of projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. Manage the project lifecycle from planning to deployment, including defining project scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets. Technical Expertise: Provide high-level technical guidance and expertise in areas relevant to the business, such as software development, system architecture, network infrastructure, or database management. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to drive innovation and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues when necessary. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce coding standards, development processes, and best practices. Ensure that technical solutions meet both functional and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, security). Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices for software development.
