PAM INDIA MARINES is a leading distributor of specialized Marine Equipment and critical Spare Parts for Imported Engines and Gearboxes, catering to the diverse needs of the maritime, fishing, inland waterway transport, and naval sectors across India. We are committed to providing high-quality products and exceptional after-sales service to ensure the seamless operation of marine vessels.

The Regional Sales Officer (RSO) is responsible for driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and expanding market share for Marine Equipment and Spare Parts within a designated geographical region. This role involves managing the existing dealer/distributor network, acquiring new key accounts, providing technical sales support, and maintaining strong customer relationships in the marine industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales and Revenue Generation

  • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, collection, and margin targets for the assigned region.
  • Business Development: Identify, prospect, and secure new customers, dealers, and key accounts (e.g., shipyards, port authorities, fleet owners, fishing trawler associations).
  • Product Promotion: Effectively promote the range of Marine Equipment and Spare Parts, including technical specifications, value propositions, and competitive advantages, focusing particularly on Imported Engine and Gearbox spares.
  • Tender Management: Monitor government/private tenders and participate in the bidding process for large contracts within the region.

2. Distributor and Dealer Management

  • Network Management: Manage, motivate, and mentor the existing network of channel partners, dealers, and distributors.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set performance goals for distributors, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement corrective action plans for underperforming partners.
  • Training: Conduct product and sales training sessions for distributor sales teams to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
  • Inventory & Logistics: Coordinate with distributors and the company's logistics team to ensure optimal stock levels and timely delivery of products.

3. Market Analysis and Customer Relationship Management

  • Market Intelligence: Continuously track market trends, competitor activity, pricing strategies, and product gaps to provide actionable feedback to senior management.
  • Customer Relationship: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
  • Technical Consultation: Act as a liaison between customers and the technical support team, offering preliminary technical advice and troubleshooting related to equipment selection and spare parts.
  • Customer Feedback: Collect and communicate customer feedback on product quality and service to the Head Office for continuous improvement.

4. Reporting and Administration

  • Sales Forecasting: Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, expense reports, and market analysis reports.
  • CRM Management: Ensure all sales activities, customer interactions, and market information are consistently logged and updated in the CRM system.
  • Compliance: Ensure all regional sales activities and transactions comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
