Job Description

  • Role Overview
  • The Regional Sales Manager will lead and manage the wholesale pharma business across multiple states/regions. The role focuses on driving sales through stockists, institutional business (hospitals/corporates), supervising Area Sales Managers, ensuring secondary sales growth, credit control, and strategic market expansion in the B2B segment.
  • Key Responsibilities
  • Business & Strategy
  • Develop regional business strategies to achieve monthly/annual sales targets.
  • Expand B2B business through wholesalers, hospitals, corporate healthcare groups, and government institutions.
  • Plan and implement rate contracts, institutional deals, tenders, and high-volume agreements.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and supply chain patterns to drive decision-making.
  • Sales & Operations
  • Monitor and drive primary & secondary sales through ASMs and MRs.
  • Ensure product availability, inventory planning, and smooth supply chain execution with distributors/stockists.
  • Oversee timely payment collection, credit management, and reconciliation with accounts department.
  • Review daily/weekly/monthly sales reports, outstanding reports, and secondary closing.
  • Team Management
  • Recruit, train, lead, and evaluate ASMs, MRs, and field teams across the region.
  • Set regional targets, monitor productivity, conduct review meetings, and ensure performance improvement.
  • Conduct field visits with teams, mentoring and supporting them in closing major business deals.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines, pharma compliance, and ethical promotion policies.

Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and product management teams for business execution

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
