Job Description

Role & responsibilities As a Regional Sales Manager in the Branded industry, the primary responsibility of the role holder is to oversee and manage the sales and operations of multiple territories within a designated region. responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring operational efficiency, and leading a team of area managers to achieve sales targets. Additionally, responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management to develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance market presence and profitability. Key responsibilities attached to the role: Regional Sales Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the region, aligned with the company's overall objectives and growth targets. Set ambitious sales targets, revenue goals, and collection timelines for each territory within the region, monitor progress, and implement corrective measures when necessary. Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify sales opportunities and formulate effective action plans. Team Leadership and Development: Lead, inspire, and manage a team of area sales managers, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. Set clear sales objectives and targets for the team, and monitor their individual and collective performance. Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and implement training and development programs to enhance the team's sales skills and product knowledge. Territory Management: Oversee the operations and performance of multiple territories within the region, ensuring effective execution of sales strategies and achievement of targets. Collaborate with area sales managers to establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, and distributors in each territory. Provide guidance and support to the team in managing channel partner relationships, optimizing product placement, visual merchandising, and inventory management. Strategic Planning and Implementation: Work closely with senior management and cross-functional teams to develop regional business plans, set objectives, and implement strategic initiatives to enhance market presence and profitability. Provide insights and recommendations based on market analysis, sales data, and customer feedback to drive product development, pricing strategies, and promotional activities. Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behavior to identify emerging market segments and develop strategies to capitalize on them. Performance Analysis and Reporting: Monitor sales performance metrics, including revenue, sales volume, market share, and profitability for each territory within the region. Analyze sales data, market intelligence, and operational reports to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement. Generate regular reports for senior management, providing insights, recommendations, and progress updates on regional sales performance.
