Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Pesticides & Fertilizers Location: Karnataka, India Experience: 12-15 Years Industry: Agrochemicals / Pesticides / Fertilizers Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead sales operations in Karnataka . The ideal candidate should have 12-15 years of experience in agrochemicals, pesticides, or fertilizers. The RSM will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor networks, developing key accounts, and ensuring market expansion strategies are executed effectively. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement regional sales plans to achieve revenue and market share targets. Market Expansion: Identify new market opportunities, onboard distributors & retailers , and expand the customer base. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASM), Sales Officers (SO), and Field Sales Representatives . Channel & Distribution Management: Maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and retailers , ensuring smooth supply chain operations. Customer Relationship Management: Engage with farmers, agronomists, and channel partners to promote products and drive demand. Market Research & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to stay ahead in the industry. Revenue & Profitability Management: Ensure profit margins and sales targets are met while optimizing pricing strategies. Product Promotion & Branding: Work with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns, farmer meetings, and product demonstrations. Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure all government regulations, product registrations, and licensing requirements are met. Key Requirements: Experience: 12-15 years in sales & marketing of pesticides, fertilizers, or agrochemical products . Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Agriculture / Agronomy / Agri-Business / MBA (Marketing) . Regional Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Karnataka market , including key crops, farming practices, and distributor networks. Skills: Strong sales acumen, leadership, negotiation, communication, and team management skills. Travel: Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka.
