Job Description

Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the LAP sales business in the assigned region by driving business volumes, building a strong sales team, developing channel relationships, and ensuring portfolio quality and profitability in line with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development & Sales Growth

  • Drive new business acquisition for

    Loan Against Property (LAP)

    through direct, DSAs, and channel partners.
  • Achieve regional disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, geographies, and segments.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and suggest strategic actions.

2. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a team of Sales Managers and Relationship Managers.
  • Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews to ensure achievement.
  • Build a performance-driven culture through leadership, coaching, and mentoring.

3. Channel & Partner Management

  • Develop and maintain relationships with DSAs, connectors, and other channel partners.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, and documentation standards.
  • Regularly engage with partners to improve productivity and maintain long-term partnerships.

4. Credit & Portfolio Quality

  • Work closely with credit and risk teams to ensure healthy portfolio quality.
  • Monitor delinquency levels and take corrective actions where needed.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.

5. Strategic Planning & Reporting

  • Plan regional sales budgets and resource allocation.
  • Provide timely MIS, market feedback, and performance reports to senior management.
  • Contribute to policy formulation, process improvements, and digital initiatives.

  • Proven track record in sales leadership and business development
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
  • Good understanding of credit, risk, and market dynamics
