Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Driving sales and revenue growth within a south region. Encompassing tasks like managing a sales team, developing strategies, and ensuring sales targets are met. Developing and implementing regional sales strategies to achieve company objectives. Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the region. Analyzing market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats. Managing the sales pipeline and ensuring accurate forecasting. Developing and implementing sales plans and budgets. Leading and motivating a team of sales representatives or managers within the region. Providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to team members. Setting sales targets and quotas for the team and individuals. Monitoring and evaluating team performance, providing feedback, and addressing any issues. Focus on revenue generation 3PL New Business development. Opening calls for WH & Transportation. New Lead Generation, opening new calls and follow up till closure. Following up on leads provided by the company to push new sales. Follow up with existing customers for project loads and incremental business. Monthly & Quarterly review with existing customers for client retention and service excellence. Achieving sales budgets and be aggressive in generating new business in Contract Logistics. Capable to close business with clients and be proactive in lead generation and follow up with customers. Desired Candidates Profile: Should have sufficient experience and knowledge in 3PL warehouse industry. Strong product knowledge. Team player. Ability to comprehend general strategy guidelines and implement the same. Good communication skills. Strong software skills (PowerPoint, excel, word, etc.). Ability to negotiate. Willingness to travel in the region
