About the Role

Air & Ocean Freight operations

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage end-to-end

  Air & Ocean freight operations

  for the western region.
• Drive

  profitability and P&L performance

  , ensuring revenue and margin targets are achieved.
• Collaborate with sales, pricing, and global operations teams to deliver seamless customer solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate regional teams to ensure high operational performance and service quality.
• Implement process improvements, digital tools, and cost-optimization strategies to enhance efficiency.
• Manage relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors to support business growth.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, ISO standards, and all statutory / trade compliance requirements.
• Provide data-driven insights through

  MIS reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 12–18 years of experience in

  freight forwarding / logistics

  , with proven exposure to

  Air & Ocean Freight along with MNC company exposure.

• Prior experience in

  P&L management

  or leading a regional product vertical is essential.
• Strong understanding of

  international trade, customs compliance, and carrier negotiations

  .
• Excellent

  leadership, communication, and stakeholder management

  skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into business decisions.
• Graduate in any discipline (MBA / PG in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred).
