We’re Hiring: Regional Manager – West | upGrad GSP | Mumbai Location: Mumbai, India Working Days: Monday to Friday (5-day workweek) Reporting To: Head of Sales – India Role Title: Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) – EdTech Sales Function: Sales | Global Study Partner (GSP) About upGrad GSP: upGrad GSP is a part of Asia's largest higher edtech company, on a mission to power global student mobility through impactful partnerships. We're expanding and looking for a high-energy, growth-focused Regional Manager – West to drive our recruitment partner ecosystem and student enrollments across the Western Zone of India. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment Partner (RP) Identification and Onboarding: Identify and recruit new Recruitment Partners (RPs), including agents and channel partners. Evaluate applications, conduct reference checks, and maintain a robust approval and documentation process to onboard high-quality partners. 2. RP Engagement & Performance Management: Actively manage and support existing RPs to maximize productivity. Conduct regular training sessions, drive marketing efforts, and monitor student pipelines. Ensure RPs are well-equipped and aligned to drive enrollments for the Global Student Program (GSP). 3. Partner Support & Student Counselling: Collaborate with partners to counsel students and review applications to ensure they meet program quality standards. Provide strategic guidance to RPs to ensure a smooth, effective application process. 4. Market Intelligence & Product Positioning: Stay updated on regional market trends and competitor activities. Provide insights for refining offerings and ensure effective product positioning to keep RPs engaged and motivated. What We're Looking For: 6–10 years of experience in B2B/Channel Sales, preferably in EdTech or International Education. Strong network across Western India, with a proven track record of building and scaling partner ecosystems. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
