Job Description: Android Developer About the Role We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to take full ownership of our Driver App. You will be responsible for delivering a reliable, high-performance, and intuitive mobile experience that powers our mobility operations. Key Responsibilities Develop, enhance, and maintain the Driver App using modern Android frameworks and Jetpack Compose . Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, backend, QA) to deliver features end-to-end. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and design guidelines. Optimize app performance, stability, and responsiveness across diverse Android devices. Implement modern architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture . Identify and fix bugs, crashes, and performance bottlenecks. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes. Requirements Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 1–3 years of experience developing Android applications. Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java knowledge is a plus). Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Jetpack components (View Model, Live Data, Navigation, Room, etc.). Proficiency in Kotlin Coroutines , asynchronous programming , and multithreading concepts. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating mobile apps with backend services. Experience with version control systems like Git . Familiarity with Firebase , Crashlytics , or analytics tools. Understanding of CI/CD , app signing, and Play Store release processes. Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Nice to Have Experience with maps, navigation , or location-based services . Exposure to Dependency Injection (Hilt/Dagger) . Understanding of Material Design principles and mobile UI/UX best practices. Basic understanding of Flutter or other cross-platform frameworks.
