Wall Street Guide | Introduction

WSG is a selective career accelerator. In their fellowship program, students work 1-1 with current mentors at companies like Goldman Sachs, McKinsey, and Citadel to apply and get jobs in finance and consulting. Currently, the program has students from Stanford, UPenn, Cornell, Brown, Umichigan, BU, and 20+ other universities.

About the Founders

As part of the position, you’ll work with the founders. Stephen Turban is a McKinsey & Company alum, a Harvard College graduate, and a former PhD student at Harvard Business School. Dhruva Bhat is a graduate of Harvard College, a Rhodes Scholar, and a PhD student at Oxford University.

About the position

In this role, you will work directly with a select cohort of students as they prepare for competitive careers in finance and consulting. You will pair each student with a 1:1 industry mentor and guide them through key recruiting milestones. Work will include assessing student goals, coordinating with mentors, and supporting their interview preparation. Your job is to ensure each student has a personalised, high-quality mentorship experience. Ultimately, you help students position themselves to secure offers at top firms.

Responsibilities

• Match selected students with suitable 1:1 mentors based on their goals, interests, and target firms.

• Guide students through key recruiting milestones, including interview preparation, resume refinement, and skill-building.

• Maintain regular check-ins with students and mentors to track progress, address challenges, and ensure a high-quality mentorship experience.

• Collaborate with the Wall Street Guide team to refine processes, improve student outcomes, and strengthen partnerships with industry mentors.

You’re the ideal candidate if you have

• Excellent operational ability and strong attention to detail

• Previous experience with career consulting and profile building

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Living in a timezone between GMT+2 and GMT+9 or willing to relocate

• International exposure through academic experience or work experience

• A background in investment banking/ consulting would be an asset
