Recruiter – Financial and Valuation Advisory at Houlihan Lokey

Job Summary As a Recruiter for our Financial and Valuation Advisory business in India (Gurugram office), you will be responsible for the full candidate life cycle, and an integral part of promoting engagement and efficiency in the recruiting process for lateral and campus hires. You will join a team responsible for building a strong pipeline of talent. In this role you will be a key liaison with leaders from our line of business helping to drive their strategic talent goals.

Responsibilities
  • Recruiter for lateral as well as campus recruitment from the Houlihan Lokey office in Gurugram, with a focus on recruiting for our Transaction Advisory Services (“TAS”) professionals.
  • Implementation of lateral and campus recruiting strategies and processes including marketing, events, and interviews.
  • Ensure candidate engagement and pipelines for summer and full-time hiring efforts.
  • Facilitate a fair and consistent assessment approach led by data-driven decision making.
  • Maintain exceptional judgment and demonstrate respect for confidentiality.
  • Partner with management teams and key stakeholders on hiring forecasts and targeted initiatives.
  • Travel as required.
  • Effectively collaborate as part of a team of two recruiters responsible for the business.
  • Responsible for arranging candidate interviews and tests – liaising with candidates, search firms/recruiting agencies, and our professional team members.
  • Manage the real time and accurate updating of Workday and other tracking mechanisms as necessary, including GoodTime.
  • Posting of vacancies to Applicant Tracking System and external facing sites.
  • Respond to ad hoc queries in a timely manner.
  • Supporting HR activities like onboarding and employee engagement.

Basic Qualifications
  • 5 to 7 years’ experience in a fast-paced, action-oriented corporate environment, preferably in the transaction advisory, financial and accounting due diligence services sectors.
  • Excellent administrative and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Client service orientation is key.
  • Strong communication / interpersonal skills and professionalism – able to confidently interact with internal clients.
  • Positive attitude, excellent team player, resilience, and diligence.
  • Eagerness to learn the organization and capability needs within a complex business.
  • Creative and strategic mind-set with ability to drive projects and initiatives forward.
  • Experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (i.e., GoodTime) and Workday.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Excel skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience coordinating complex people-oriented processes.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and successfully manage change and process improvement using metrics, data, and resourcing analysis.
