Recovery Manager - Microfinance

As a Recovery Manager at Muthoottu Mini Financiers Ltd., you will play a crucial role in leading and managing recovery and collection activities in the microfinance division. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing recovery operations for microfinance loans and ensuring achievement of collection and recovery targets. - Monitoring overdue accounts, identifying default cases, and implementing effective recovery strategies. - Coordinating with field officers and branch staff to ensure timely follow-ups and recoveries. - Handling soft and hard collections while maintaining a customer-centric approach. - Tracking and analyzing delinquency reports, preparing MIS, and sharing periodic updates with senior management. - Liaising with legal and collection agencies for escalation and recovery of chronic default accounts. - Training and motivating recovery/collection teams to enhance performance and compliance. - Ensuring adherence to company policies, regulatory norms, and ethical collection practices. Desired Candidate Profile: - Experience: 3-8 years in recovery/collections within the Microfinance sector. - Qualification: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline. Skills Required: - Strong leadership and team-handling skills. - Good communication and negotiation ability. - Proficiency in field recovery, portfolio analysis, and MIS reporting. - Familiarity with local geography and customer behavior. - Preference: Candidates with experience in the Ernakulam region or nearby districts.
