Role & responsibilities

Record to Report (R2R)

Cash & Bank Reconciliation

• Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Identify and resolve unmatched entries or discrepancies.
• Ensure all cash transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
• Coordinate with Treasury/AP/AR teams for reconciliation issues.

Manual Payments

• Process manual and urgent payments as per company policy.
• Verify supporting documents and approval workflows.
• Ensure timely execution and accurate posting of manual payments.
• Track and report manual payment trends for process improvement.

Cash Forecasting

• Prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze cash inflow/outflow trends and variances.
• Collaborate with different departments to collect forecasting inputs.
• Support Treasury in liquidity planning and cash requirement analysis.

GL Reconciliation

• Perform monthly General Ledger (GL) reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in GL accounts.
• Ensure balances are accurate, supported, and compliant with accounting standards.
• Post adjustments and ensure integrity of financial records.

Manual Clearing

• Execute manual clearing of open items in GL accounts.
• Validate cleared entries and ensure accuracy in postings.
• Maintain audit trails for all clearing activities.
• Identify root causes for open items and support automation to reduce manual clearing.

Other Responsibilities

• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Prepare required reports for management and audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
• Participate in process improvement and standardization initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor/Master Degree in commerce/MBA/CA/CMA
