Job Summary: We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Hospital Receptionist to join our front desk team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff, playing a critical role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the hospital's reception area. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries or directions. Answer incoming calls, route them appropriately, and take messages as needed. Schedule and confirm appointments using the hospital’s scheduling software. Register patients by collecting and verifying personal and insurance information. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA regulations at all times. Handle patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately. Coordinate with medical staff and departments to support daily operations. Manage front desk operations, including filing, scanning, and basic administrative duties. Assist with billing and payment processing as required. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required); additional administrative training is a plus. Previous experience in a medical or hospital setting is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance and demeanor.
