Job Title: Receptionist – Knee Expert Clinic Department: Front Office / Orthopedic Department Reports To: Clinic Manager / Doctor Job Summary: The receptionist at the Knee Expert Clinic will be the first point of contact for patients seeking specialized care for knee-related issues. The role requires excellent communication skills, patient coordination, appointment scheduling, and administrative support to ensure smooth clinic operations. Key Responsibilities: Greet patients warmly and professionally, in person and over the phone. Schedule and confirm appointments, surgeries, and follow-ups specifically for knee-related consultations and treatments. Maintain patient records, ensuring all forms, insurance details, and medical history related to knee care are updated. Communicate with orthopedic doctors, physiotherapists, and other staff to coordinate patient care. Answer patient queries regarding treatments, insurance coverage, and billing procedures. Handle check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing. Manage the clinic’s waiting area, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, report generation, and maintaining inventory for the reception area. Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare regulations (like HIPAA, if applicable). Requirements: Proven experience as a medical receptionist, preferably in an orthopedic or specialty clinic. Knowledge of medical terminology related to knee anatomy and treatments is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
