Job Title: Receptionist

Job Summary:

Goel Enterprises, a prominent manufacturing factory in Chandigarh, is seeking a reliable and organized Receptionist to manage front desk operations and maintain accurate records of all incoming materials and their challan bills. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and will ensure a smooth and efficient flow of information and materials within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answer, screen, and direct phone calls to the appropriate departments.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area, ensuring it is presentable at all times.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail and deliveries.
  • Schedule and manage appointments, meetings, and conference room bookings.
  • Maintain and update visitor logs and issue visitor badges as necessary.
  • Handle basic administrative duties, including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Record and log all incoming materials and ensure their proper documentation with challan bills.
  • Coordinate with the inventory and procurement departments to verify the accuracy of incoming materials.
  • Ensure that all challan bills are accurately recorded, filed, and forwarded to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining reports related to incoming materials and inventory.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and timely receipt of goods.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the factory.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or related field is a plus.
  • Looking for only female candidates
  • 3 year experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software is an advantage.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM
