Contact us at info@globalbardrafting.com. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Salem for a Rebar Detailer. The Rebar Detailer will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and plans for the placement of reinforcing steel bars (rebar) in various types of construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and structural drawings, using AutoCAD and RebarCAD to produce accurate rebar placement drawings, coordinating with project managers and engineers, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. Responsibilities Prepare detailed and precise rebar shop drawings from structural and architectural blueprints. Perform rebar detailing for concrete elements in various structural systems. Interpret and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Ensure all detailing complies with relevant codes, standards, and client requirements. Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers for design clarifications. Incorporate revisions and updates based on project changes and feedback. Maintain high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and project timelines. Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Qualifications 0 to 10 years of experience in rebar detailing or a related role. Proficient in CAD software such as RebarCAD & RebarCAD Lite, RGS CAD, AutoCAD, or similar tools. Strong knowledge of steel reinforcement and concrete structural systems. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Show more Show less
