Role Description Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 7+ years Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with over 7 years of experience in developing highly responsive and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our development team, driving the creation of innovative products and features to address industry-specific challenges. Responsibilities Contribute to the development of new features and products, leveraging expertise in React, Node.js, and the latest cutting-edge technologies in the software industry. Spearhead infrastructural changes, setup, and development for our software (CI/CD, AWS EC2 instances, lambdas, etc.). Address internal bugs and customer-reported issues promptly, ensuring high-quality, bug-free code that aligns with industry standards. Identify technical debt within the system and devise strategic plans for resolution and implementation to enhance our marine solutions. Mentor and guide team members, providing technical leadership and support while fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment. Collaborate effectively within an Agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Conduct unit and functional testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of developed solutions. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, employing analytical thinking to tackle complex challenges. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Must-Have Skills Technical Proficiency: JavaScript/TypeScript (3+ years of professional experience in full-stack development) Node.js React.js AWS (Serverless + EKS) CI/CD pipelines (Concourse) GitHub and version control MySQL Database management Core Competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. Proven ability to mentor and lead teams. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team. Experience in Agile methodologies (including Sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups).
