I. Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
React Architect
to lead the design and development of scalable, maintainable, and high-performance React applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for front-end architecture decisions, reusable component libraries, and performance optimization, while driving best practices across TypeScript, accessibility, internationalization, and CI/CD for front-end workflows. This role involves close collaboration with UX, backend, and platform teams to deliver consistent, high-quality user experiences that align with business goals.
II. Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of complex React applications and reusable component libraries with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
- Drive front-end architecture decisions, including component composition, state management, SSR/CSR strategies, and build/runtime optimization.
- Lead performance optimization across rendering, bundle size, and runtime profiling.
- Define and enforce standards for TypeScript typing, accessibility (a11y), and internationalization (i18n).
- Build and maintain design systems, storybooks, and component catalogs for consistent UX and rapid delivery.
- Enhance developer workflows through CI/CD, automated testing, linting, and release automation.
- Collaborate with UX/product/design, backend, and platform teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers, conduct peer code reviews, and guide the front-end technical roadmap.
- Participate in incident response for production issues, analyze root causes, and implement preventive measures.
III. Years Of Experience
- Min 12 years of total experience in software development.
- Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience with React and TypeScript in production environments.
IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.
- Certifications in JavaScript/React or Front-End Development are a plus.
Must Have
V. Skill Set Required:
- Expert-level proficiency in React and component-driven architecture.
- Strong command of TypeScript, including advanced types and generics.
- Proven experience with state management (Redux/RTK, Zustand, React Context, React Query).
- Deep understanding of React internals, hooks, reconciliation, and rendering lifecycles.
- Experience with Next.js, Remix, or similar SSR/SSG frameworks.
- Expertise in front-end testing using Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress.
- Experience with design systems (Storybook, CSS-in-JS, CSS modules).
- Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Vite, Rollup) and performance optimizations.
- Strong knowledge of accessibility (WCAG) and internationalization (i18n) best practices.
- Exposure to CI/CD, automated releases, static analysis, and performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, RUM, Sentry).
Nice To Have
- Experience with micro front-end architectures and module federation.
- Knowledge of backend integration (REST, GraphQL).
- Exposure to cloud-based deployment (AWS Amplify, Azure Static Web Apps).
- Strong presentation and communication skills with mentoring experience.
