React Native Lead Developer

As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will play a crucial role in leading the architecture and development of cross-platform OTT front-end applications for Mobile (iOS/Android), STB, and Smart TVs (Android TV, Tizen, WebOS) using React Native. Your responsibilities will include: - Building and optimizing media and streaming applications to ensure high-quality video playback, performance, and reliability across various platforms. - Collaborating closely with product, design, and backend teams to deliver scalable, user-centric streaming experiences. - Leveraging your solid JavaScript expertise to develop and maintain applications for Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS ecosystems. - Defining technical standards and best practices, conducting regular code reviews, and ensuring consistency across projects. - Mentoring and guiding development teams to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement. - Integrating third-party SDKs and APIs (e.g., analytics, DRM, content delivery, ad tech) into OTT applications. - Driving performance optimization across devices to ensure smooth navigation, responsive UI, and efficient resource usage. - Staying current with OTT and Smart TV technologies, evaluating new tools and frameworks to enhance platform capabilities. In terms of qualifications, you should have: Education & Experience: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 6-10 years of professional experience in front-end or mobile application development, with at least 3 years of experience leading teams or projects. - Proven experience in delivering OTT, media, or streaming applications across multiple platforms. Technical Skills: - Expert-level proficiency in React Native, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript. - Strong experience in building cross-platform apps for various platforms, including iOS, Android, Android TV, Apple TV, STB, and Smart TV platforms (Tizen, WebOS). - In-depth understanding of Smart TV ecosystems, particularly Samsung Tizen and LG WebOS application development. - Hands-on experience with media playback frameworks, DRM, and streaming technologies (e.g., HLS, DASH, ExoPlayer, AVPlayer). - Familiarity with microservices-based architectures, RESTful APIs, and GraphQL integrations. - Strong grasp of performance optimization, memory management, and device-specific debugging. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and app store deployments.
