React Native Developer

You have the opportunity to join a team in the Development department at Bajpe, Mangalore, seeking a React Native developer with 1+ years of experience in mobile application development. Your role will involve translating wireframes into application UI, integrating native APIs, diagnosing and fixing bugs, and transitioning existing React web apps to React Native. Here are the key responsibilities for this role: - Translate high fidelity wireframes into application UI and build pixel-perfect UIs for both iOS and Android platforms. - Leverage native APIs for integrations with application backend services. - Diagnose and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks to ensure a native-like performance. - Collaborate with the open-source community for critical software fixes. - Transition existing React web apps to React Native and work with native modules when needed. - Integrate third-party APIs and write unit and integration tests. - Build and deploy applications to the IOS AppStore and Google Play stores. - Maintain version control using Git. - Explore feasible architectures for implementing new features. To excel in this role, you should have the following skills: - Firm grasp of JavaScript language, including ES6+ syntax. - Knowledge of functional and object-oriented programming. - Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code. - Experience with React Native tools like Expo, Flow, React Navigation, Redux, Reduxsauce, ESLint, Ignite, NativeBase, and Enzyme. - Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with MySQL, Firebase, and MongoDB. - Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
