Responsibilities: Lead month-end and year-end closing activities, including financial consolidation. Review, assess, and enhance accounting systems, internal controls, and SOPs. Oversee accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare, analyze, and present budgets, P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash-flow projections. Conduct detailed internal audits and implement corrective actions. Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff and coordinate cross-functional queries. Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, PF/ESI) and liaise with auditors and tax consultants. Drive process improvements and automation initiatives in bookkeeping and reporting.
