Senior Engineer R&D Projects Design & development Location - Attibele, Banaglore Reporting - Project Manager Qualifications Preferred B.E. (Mechanical) M.Tech. (Machine Design) M.Tech. (Industrial Engg.) Experience 6 to 8 years Skills and Knowledge Good hold on basic Mechanical Engineering, Calculations Good hold on Heat and Mass transfer & Fluid dynamics Good knowledge on Creo, Inventor and PLM tools Good communication, ability to convince Purpose of the Role Participate in R&D project (Design & development) including all necessary coordination tasks to finally prove the machine practically at customer sites. Key Outputs Design concepts/ alternative proposals Design calculations and analysis Work as per priorities assigned by Project manager Involvement in manufacturing of parts and assembly (coordinate with team / vendors) Complete involvement in machine testing and trials, both in the Application mill and at customer sites, as per project needs. Additional special tasks as may be assigned by Head R&D Priorities of the role: Work on New Product Development projects Familiarise with overall knowledge of the machine functionality Detailed design, preparation of manufacturing drawings, Bill of Materials. Work on tools like Creo, Inventor, Wind chill Completion of assigned tasks within the allotted time, and with right first-time approach Coordination with the manufacturing team Coordination with machine assembly team Participate in machine testing and trials.
