Job Description

You Are:

A software engineer skilled in

C/C++ coding and well-versed in data structures and algorithms

. You have knowledge of design patterns, the Qt library, and Linux. Your problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies make you a great team player.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Software maintenance, adapting new hardware changes in tools and improving its performance
  • System testing and adding regression tests
  • Writing efficient and maintainable C/C++ code. Scripting languages in TCL
  • Working with customers and other departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.
  • Consulting with engineering staff to evaluate software-hardware interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements
  • Preparing reports on programming project specifications, activities, or status.
  • Conferring with project managers to obtain information on limitations or capabilities.

What You’ll Need:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least 3 years of professional experience in a software development related role.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ coding
  • Knowledge of STL and Boost Libraries
  • Knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with design patterns and Qt library.
  • Knowledge of Linux.
