Job Description

Role & responsibilities Design and develop electronic, electromechanical and acoustic systems for underwater applications. Perform CAD modeling, simulation, and prototyping of critical system components. Conduct functional, structural, thermal, and hydrodynamic analysis to optimize designs. Work on sensor integration, power systems, and communication interfaces for underwater platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electronics, materials, and software engineers. Ensure compliance with marine and defense industry standards for underwater systems. Participate in field trials and validation tests to assess system performance. Qualifications & Skills: Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field. OR PhD in underwater technology applications Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA) and simulation software. Knowledge of underwater acoustics, materials, and hydrodynamics is a plus. Hands-on experience in prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems. Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a highly secure and confidential environment. Preferred Experience: Prior experience in marine, defense, or underwater systems is highly desirable. Exposure to acoustic sensors, SONAR systems, or underwater robotics is a plus. Understanding of embedded electronics and related fields for underwater applications.
