Job Description

What You Will Need:

3 - 6 years of experience in the banking industry or commercial financial services consulting
3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

Operational risk and/or large bank compliance
Banking regulations and compliance
Experience with risk and controls current state assessments (including process mapping)

Bachelors degree (BA or BS) or equivalent
Comfortable working in a cross-border environment with frequent interaction with U.S. stakeholders
Strong understanding of operational risk concepts
Solid understanding of financial institution processes, products, and risks
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced challenging client focused environment where priorities and scope may change quickly
Excellent presentation, facilitation, verbal and written communication skills, tailoring communications to both clients and coworkers
Ability to be in Guidehouse or client offices 100%
Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
Creative problem-solving ability and a collaborative, consultancy mindset
Focus on exceptional quality in all deliverables
Demonstrated positive and productive client relationship skills
Ability to generate a quality work product in a timely manner while maintaining a strong attention to detail
Experience working on discrete, time sensitive projects
Highly motivated, driven, and dynamic attitude towards work and career

What Would Be Nice To Have:

Prior consulting experience
CPA, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or other relevant certifications
MBA or MA/MS degree in a related field
Experience with control frameworks, audit, legal, and regulatory requirements
Strong organizational and facilitation skills, with the ability to support workshops
High attention to detail with ability to identify risks and interdependencies
Ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
Problem-solving and analytical skills,including risk analysis and documenting control design
Ability to draft process documentation and support change management initiatives
