Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager, Revenue : Understand market dynamics and monitor competitor pricing to grow revenue and RevPAR for assigned portfolio. Deliver effective pricing and ensure optimal inventory for all revenue streams and market segments. Generate revenue forecasts and budgets for all hotels within area of responsibility Understand, investigate and extract data from any relevant system needed for problem solving and analysis. Embrace and ensure optimization of new systems and tools to maximize revenue Work closely with the Area/Corporate Support Office and the hotel operational teams to ensure aligned direction Supports the smooth running of the revenue management department of the hotels, where all aspects of the concerned hotel’s reservations and meeting & events enquiries are managed and handled Develops and implements strategies where key revenue management metrics are identified, communicated and delivered Effectively manages the life cycle of the team within the department, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance Responsible for the revenue budget, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders Reviews and scrutinizes the business performance, providing recommendations that will drive financial performance Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required Requirements of the Assistant Manager Revenue : Proven experience in revenue management with excellent problem-solving capabilities 3 years of experience in Revenue Management, Pricing and/or Distribution Desirable to be experienced in Hotel Reservation Systems, Revenue Management Systems and/or Distribution / Channel Management Systems.
