Radiology coders

Key Responsibilities:

• Review radiology reports and assign appropriate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
• Ensure accurate and complete documentation supports the codes assigned.
• Stay updated with CPT and ICD-10 coding changes related to diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy standards set by the organization.
• Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations at all times.
• Participate in internal audits, feedback sessions, and ongoing coder education programs.
• Report coding errors or compliance issues to the Coding Manager in a timely manner.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of CPT and ICD-10-CM coding for radiology (diagnostic & interventional).
• Familiarity with payer guidelines and NCCI edits.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate in Life Science / Medical Science / Paramedical discipline preferred.
• Certification: CPC, COC, or CCS credential from AAPC or AHIMA (will be add on benefit).
• Experience:
• 1–5 years of experience in Radiology Coding (Diagnostic or Interventional).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
