Role & responsibilities Design and develop hardware components such as circuit boards, microcontroller, processors, and other electronic devices. Assist in hardware prototyping, testing, debugging, and validation to ensure performance and quality. Work with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium) for schematic capture and layout. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware-related issues during development and production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including firmware engineers and product managers, for hardware-firmware integration. Maintain technical documentation like schematics, test reports, and design specifications. Support manufacturing and supply chain processes, including vendor interaction and component selection. Execute hardware requirements analysis, design reviews, and development schedules. Use lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers for hardware testing. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of hardware design principles, PCB layout, and circuit design. Strong Knowledge of digital and analog circuits, signal integrity, and power management. Familiarity with embedded firmware, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART), and microcontroller programming. Good analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Experience with hardware validation, debugging, and testing tools. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics. Communication skills for effective teamwork and vendor coordination. Exposure to software tools aiding board bring-up, testing, and development processes.
