Quarks & Red Hat Camel Apache Specialist

As a Java Developer with 4 to 6 years of experience, your role will involve designing and developing scalable microservices using the Quarks framework. You will be responsible for building and maintaining integration flows and APIs leveraging Red Hat Fuse (Apache Camel) for enterprise integration patterns. Additionally, you will design, implement, and optimize Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data streaming and event-driven architecture. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing scalable microservices using Quarks framework. - Building and maintaining integration flows and APIs leveraging Red Hat Fuse (Apache Camel). - Developing and consuming RESTful web services and APIs. - Designing, implementing, and optimizing Kafka producers and consumers. - Writing efficient, well-documented, and testable Java code. - Working with relational databases for schema design, queries, and performance tuning. - Collaborating with DevOps teams to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines. - Deploying and managing applications on OpenShift Container Platform. - Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies. - Troubleshooting and resolving production issues. - Keeping up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommending improvements. Required Skills & Experience: - Strong experience with Java (Java 8 or above) and the Quarks framework. - Expertise in Red Hat Fuse (or Apache Camel) for integration development. - Proficient in designing and consuming REST APIs. - Experience with Kafka for event-driven and streaming solutions. - Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL. - Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment. - Hands-on experience deploying applications to OpenShift Container Platform. - Working knowledge of containerization tools like Docker. - Familiarity with microservices architecture, cloud-native development, and agile methodologies. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team. - Good communication and documentation skills. - Experience with messaging systems like Kafka. - Knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring Boot. - Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. - Understanding of security best practices in microservices and API development. - Cloud platform experience is a plus. Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.,
