Job Description

Experience: 5 to 7 Years Job Overview: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The Quantity Surveyor will manage all aspects of the cost and value of construction projects, from initial estimates and budgets to final cost reports. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time, while maintaining the highest standards of quality. QS also responsible for quantities to be extracted from the site and assist Project Head related to works. He also needs to closely work with HO. Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for construction projects. Procurement: Oversee the procurement process, including selecting contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors. Cost Management: Monitor and control costs throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that costs are kept within budget. Contract Administration: Manage contracts and ensure that all contractual obligations are met. Value Engineering: Advise on ways to reduce costs while maintaining project quality and standards. Financial Reporting: Prepare cost reports and financial statements for clients and stakeholders. Tendering: Assist in preparing tender documents and reviewing tenders from contractors. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and provide strategies to mitigate them. Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure smooth project execution. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and Quantity Surveying, Construction Management related field as a added advantage Familiarity with cost estimation software and tools. Strong understanding of construction contracts, tendering, and procurement processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time management skills.
