Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor based in Mumbai. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing costs throughout the project lifecycle, planning costs for projects, and generating regular cost reports. Daily tasks will involve coordinating with project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects. - Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements and scope. - Liaise with partners, architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to obtain pricing and cost data. - Review and evaluate tender submissions and proposals, identifying discrepancies and negotiating terms. - Monitor and track project costs and expenditures, identifying variances and taking corrective action as necessary. - Prepare regular reports and updates on project costs, budgets, and forecasts. - Assist in the preparation of contract documents, change orders, and payment applications. - Provide support and advice to project teams on cost-related matters. - Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
