Quantitative Researcher

As a Quantitative Researcher at a leading global quant investment firm in Gurgaon, your role involves researching, testing, and implementing systematic alpha signals across global markets. You will apply advanced statistics, optimization, and machine learning to financial data, working end-to-end on ideas from hypothesis to data cleaning, backtesting, and live deployment. Collaboration with global teams of researchers and engineers to scale the research infrastructure is a key aspect of your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: - Research, test, and implement systematic alpha signals across global markets. - Apply advanced statistics, optimization, and machine learning to financial data. - Work end-to-end on ideas from hypothesis to data cleaning, backtesting, and live deployment. - Collaborate with global teams of researchers and engineers to scale the research infrastructure. Qualifications Required: - Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering from a top university (IIT, IISc, ISI, CMI, BITS, IIIT). - Strong programming ability in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow). - Deep understanding of statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and data analysis. - Passion for solving real-world problems through data-driven research. - 5 years of experience in quant research, ML, or data science; internships in trading, hedge funds, or top product firms are a plus.
