Quantitative Researcher – Gurgaon | Global Quant Fund

We’re hiring exceptional Quantitative Researchers for a leading global quant investment firm building market-neutral, ML-driven strategies across global equities.

This team operates at the intersection of data, mathematics, and machine learning, generating thousands of predictive signals daily and turning research into production-ready trading strategies.

Location: Gurgaon

You role:

• Research, test, and implement systematic alpha signals across global markets.
• Apply advanced statistics, optimization, and machine learning to financial data.
• Work end-to-end on ideas — from hypothesis → data cleaning → backtesting → live deployment.
• Collaborate with global teams of researchers and engineers to scale the research infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or Engineering from a top university (IIT, IISc, ISI, CMI, BITS, IIIT).
• Strong programming ability in Python (NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch or TensorFlow).
• Deep understanding of statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and data analysis.
• Passion for solving real-world problems through data-driven research.
• 0–5 years’ experience in quant research, ML, or data science — internships in trading, hedge funds, or top product firms a plus.
