Quantitative Developer - Commodities

Role Overview: Millennium is a top tier global hedge fund focused on leveraging technology and data science to address complex business challenges. As part of the Fixed Income & Commodities Technology (FICT) group, you will join a Quant Technology team tasked with developing and maintaining in-house pricing libraries to support trading in Fixed Income, Commodities, Credit, and FX businesses. This role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment with abundant growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with Quant Researchers, Portfolio Managers, and Technology teams to build a commodities fundamental analytics and modeling platform from scratch. - Develop scalable libraries and APIs for commodities fundamental modeling across various assets and geographies. - Build, maintain, and operate end-to-end modeling pipelines incorporating diverse and large sets of statistical and machine learning models. - Create scalable tools for data analysis and visualization. - Collaborate with the team to establish robust delivery and operating models for rapid development and scalable deployment of new capabilities. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of Python fundamentals for data science and experience with SQL/Database. - Proficiency in all stages of the data modeling pipeline, including data access, transformation, model training, and inference pipeline, along with data analysis tools. - Ability to work independently with hands-on experience in the complete software development lifecycle and relevant development tools. - Previous experience as a Quant Developer/Data Scientist in the financial industry, with a preference for commodities and hands-on statistical/data modeling experience. - Familiarity with tools and libraries such as Airflow, Flask, Dash, etc. would be advantageous.,
