Quality Test Engineer - Manual & Automation

Job Description

Context The QC Engineer focus is to plan and execute all those tasks required to test and validate that any change introduced in our products complies with the QA policies established in our development process. The QC Engineer will be responsible of monitoring the health of our core products before a new feature / update / patch is delivered to our customers. He will catch and report potential regression issues in the application before they reach the customer. Key responsibilities: Verify and test that any bug reported in the process are properly resolved Write test cases and test automation scripts around provided Use-Cases. Verify (validate) that new enhancements are implemented according to the requirements Monitor the output of our Test Automation solution against the Application Under Test. Investigate existing issues and report the bugs found to the engineering team Create ad-hoc test data packages to improve the quality of the test environments. Participate in all the team activities related to the SCRUM project execution (Daily/Planning/Demo meetings) Provide Technical Support to other departments (Help-Desk, Technical Implementation Teams) Plan, design and execute load and stress test sessions. Required Skills and Qualifications Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and XML Understanding of QA and software development life cycles Familiarity with relational databases (MSSQL or Oracle preferably) Knowledge of OOP languages, C# preferably Knowledge of Selenium or similar test automation tools Experience with other different types of testing (unit, performance, security) Experience with Microsoft tools like Visual Studio, TFS, Azure Hierarchy and interactions The candidate will report to his QA Team Lead. The candidate will be working inside of one of our project development teams as a QA Engineer, interacting with all its members as the Product Owner, the Product Manager and the Software Development team. The candidate will interact also with the Cloud Operations and the Support teams. Typically interacts with other teams including Cloud Operations, Support, Product Management Missions Ensure the quality, reliability, and scalability of our applications.
