Key Responsibilities: Quality Standards Maintenance: Ensure that all products meet or exceed established quality standards, with a target to maintain below 0.5% rejection rate for gears, VMC, and Gravity Die Casting (GDC). Customer Complaint Management: Address and resolve customer complaints effectively, ensuring zero customer complaints. Quality System Implementation: Implement, maintain, and improve quality management systems (QMS) in accordance with industry standards and company policies. Audits and Reviews: Conduct internal audits, management review meetings (MRM), and facilitate customer audits. Team Management: Lead and develop the quality team, including 1 Assistant Manager, 5 Engineers, and 15 Inspectors, to achieve quality objectives. Revenue Generation: Contribute to revenue generation by controlling rework and scrap, with a target to generate revenue of 10 to 18 Lakhs per month through these efforts. Rejection Rate Reduction: Work towards reducing aggregate rejection rates from 0.5% to 0.25%. Resource Management: Utilize the well-equipped lab and available resources effectively to maintain and improve quality standards. Reporting Structure: Report to GM - QA and Senior GM. Oversee the work of Quality Engineers and Quality Inspectors. Implementation of Quality Plan: Develop and execute a comprehensive quality plan in line with company goals and industry standards. Process Compliance: Ensure all processes comply with the quality manual and industry standards. Asset Management: Maintain and manage quality lab and equipment as per quality standards. Monitoring and Control: Monitor, control, and report quality metrics and performance as per the quality manual. Key Performance Indicators (KPI): Rejection Rate Reduction: Control and reduce the rejection percentage from 0.5% to 0.25%. Customer Complaint Management: Achieve and maintain zero customer complaints. QMS Updates: Ensure the Quality Management System is continuously updated and adhered to. Lab Maintenance: Maintain the quality lab according to established standards. Revenue Generation: Generate targeted revenue of 10 to 18 Lakhs per month through rework and scrap control.
