Job Description

Mission of job: To resolve the quality issues in the incoming child parts WITH the objective of improving the quality performance of vendor supplied parts WITHIN the framework of VDA 6.3, PSA and IATF16949 Standards. Maintain IATF Certification Education required: B.E. (Mechanical) Professional Experience: Leading team. Driving Quality Improvement Projects Excellence in customer satisfaction Worked in Global Multi national Management Update Global customer handling Knowledge of problem solving tools including 7QC Tools, 8D, Six Sigma, Shainin Knowledge of quality tools ( APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, VDA, FMEA, DOE ) Knowledge of ISO standards Knowledge of minitab Leadership skills Process knowledge Six sigma training PDC (Product Development and Commercialization) training Task and Responsibility: CUSTOMER QUALITY MANAGEMENT To handle and redress customer complaints and warranty issues by doing root cause analysis , giving action plans and implementing corrective and preventive actions in the plant IN ORDER TO maintain customer ppm within limits of ppm and to ensure that proactive actions are taken to improve production quality to achieve customer satisfaction and enhance the growth of business. Improve customer score cards Visit customers Warranty management Zero mileage claims handling Internal audits External certification audits IN ORDER TO meet company's and customer's requirement of certificate to IATF 16949" PRODUCT SAFETY MANAGEMENT To handle SC and CC parameters across components and products To participate in PSA audits across KB locations globally and getting successful PSA audits done in KB India IN ORDER TO achieve 50% score in PSA as per KB global norms " PRODUCT AND PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS IN KB INDIA Process audits as per VDA 6.3 Product audits as per VDA 6.5 To identify improvement areas in processes and products to continually improve them and eliminate the wastes IN ORDER TO continually review and improve the quality of products and processes to increase efficiency. Key figures (KPI): To achieve the target ppm To achieve 100 % audit according to yearly plan. To achieve the target CP/CPR ratio. Send the report to HOD and complete the QHSE KB report within stipulated time. No major non conformity in the area during PSA audits, Internal Audits and IATF 16949 audits. Carry out assigned Internal audits on time as per plan and generate the audit report within 2 working days of the audit.
