Quality Manager

As a Quality Manager at Assago Group, your role involves overseeing all laboratory operations related to ethanol production to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. You will be leading a team of lab technicians, developing testing protocols, and collaborating with production and process teams to maintain consistent product quality. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise day-to-day lab operations in compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations. - Develop and monitor SOPs for sampling and testing of raw materials, process intermediates, and final ethanol products. - Perform analytical tests using standard laboratory equipment and review critical parameters. - Identify areas for quality improvement in collaboration with production and engineering departments. - Maintain calibration and preventive maintenance of laboratory instruments. - Ensure accurate documentation of test results and quality reports, complying with internal standards. - Train lab personnel on quality testing methods, safety procedures, and regulatory compliance. - Liaise with external agencies and regulatory bodies for certifications, audits, and compliance reporting. - Investigate and troubleshoot quality deviations, customer complaints, or non-conformances. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related field. - 5+ years of laboratory experience in an ethanol plant or similar industry. - Strong understanding of ethanol production processes and quality parameters. - Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and analytical methods. - Familiarity with ISO, GMP, and environmental regulations relevant to ethanol production. - Excellent leadership, documentation, and communication skills.
