Quality Inspector

Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Inspector to ensure our products meet quality standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, components, and finished products to identify defects and ensure compliance with internal and external specifications. Key Responsibilities: Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished products for quality and compliance. Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to understand quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste. Communicate quality issues to the production team and assist in identifying corrective actions. Maintain calibration of inspection equipment and tools. Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Quality Control or related field is a plus. Proven experience as a Quality Inspector or similar role in manufacturing or production. Familiarity with quality inspection tools and techniques. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities. Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting.
